Circular Veil - how do I make it detachable?

I bought my veil and tiara separately off E-Bay and I love both. But I'm getting my hair done the morning of my wedding and need to put the tiara in at that time. I don't want to wear the veil all day until pictures start around 4:30pm.

I have very very short hair, kindof like a pixie cut. I usually spike it up in the back. I bought a headband/tiara that will bend to make a headband or can bobbypin to make a tiara. A catalogue image of my wedding gown is attached. I will be married in an evening wedding, summertime, at a Villa abroad with 100 guests (very elegant setting). What do you think I should do about the veil?
